What you will have:

• Excellent problem-solving skills which can be leveraged to troubleshoot large, and complex systems.
• Provide extensive technical expertise to identify and restore service disruptions during and after outages and minor to major incidents.
• Learn, improve and maintain strong application or product knowledge in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
• Document technical problems, solutioning, triage steps and remediations for applications, systems, SaaS services, integrations and websites supported at a Tier 2 and 3 level.
• Ability to utilize troubleshooting concepts across multiple technologies and functions in a global and virtual environment to ensure successful remediation of issues or system degradations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows environment
• Understand cloud computing concepts and the ability to analyze and diagnose issues. (Azure, AWS or Oracle Health cloud computing nice to have).
• Reproduce and/or debug customer application issues by utilizing or repurposing toolsets, scripts or procedures in partnership with DevOps and systems development teams.
• Familiar with basic networking concepts.
• Basic understanding of database concepts (preferably SQL).
• Provide strategic influence across groups, projects and products to implement appropriate technology solutions to solve complex business problems.
• Organizational agility - ability to work in a productive and cooperative way with a variety of people ranging from VPs, developers, customers, vendors and support staff.
• Communication capable - ability to relay customer facing issues to backend developers, product owners and vendors with technical clarity.
• Participates in on-call/afterhours support as scheduled within the team and business release cycles.

Requirements for applicants that are interested in this role:

• Experience or education in developing applications, websites or cloud services
• Experience supporting production web, SaaS, Cloud or server/client applications
• Experience working with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and/or DevOps environment
• Application operational triage, troubleshooting, maintenance/support and customer engagement critical business services
• Experience with Object Oriented Development/Programming (OOD/OOP) or enterprise scripting such PowerShell or Python
• Familiar with cloud concepts (Azure preferably) and services that support applications and application integration
• Knowledge of database concepts and SQL scripts
• Experience in building or supporting webservices, REST APIs and monitoring solutions
• Perform system and infrastructure analysis to evaluate messages, database and application performance
• Set up new application configurations and build new features on production applications through change, and release process.
• Upgrade current systems from outdated operating systems to newer operating systems and integrating standardized Operations tooling through the process
• Migration of applications from the different systems will need to occur, and verification of testing through this process will be determined at this time.
• Research and discover applications which are redundant and can be reduced or consolidated through application rationalization plan.
• Work with vendors and coordinate their releases to ensure that teams are aware as well as validate the impact to production systems.
• Analyzing existing processes, support models, monitoring, previous automation and tools, with the goal of identifying gaps and opportunities for enhancements or automated trigger, alert and remediation opportunities
