What it means to be a Director of Marketing

We’re looking for a Director of Marketing to lead and scale our experiential marketing strategy, and execute content and campaigns while elevating our brand and creativity. This role is perfect for a senior manager or director-level performance, content, or growth marketing professional looking to grow their well-roundedness as B2B marketer and who thrives at the intersection of performance and brand. We want to welcome someone who is excited to fully own marketing programs from strategy to execution, and measurement.

As a Marketing Director at Ampd, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Own and execute an ABM-led strategy focused on demand generation, performance marketing, events, hospitality, content, and brand.
  • Lead multi-channel acquisition efforts across paid media (Google, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, and more), SEO, and partnerships.
  • Manage and optimize paid media budgets to maximize ROI, CAC efficiency, and pipeline contribution.
  • Strategize and allocate budgets across events, and hospitality for key accounts to drive pipeline, retention, and advocacy.
  • Develop and execute an SEO and content strategy and manage the Ampd.io website to increase organic visibility, authority, and inbound lead volume.
  • Oversee the development of high-converting landing pages, campaign experiments, and CRO strategies to improve funnel performance.
  • Evolve and contribute to the brand strategy, ensuring consistent messaging, creative direction, and positioning across all touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with Product and Revenue teams to refine audience segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and go-to-market campaigns.
  • Coordinate with customers and partners to evolve case studies, testimonials, and other advocacy-building strategies.
  • Build a data-driven culture with clear KPIs, marketing attribution, forecasting, and regular performance reporting to the executive team

This role is expected to grow into a senior executive role as the company grows and the team expands.

What we would like to see in you:

  • Proven experience creating strategies as well as executing the tactical plan
  • Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally across product and revenue teams.
