Position Summary
As the Director of Product – Mobile Performance, you will lead the development of innovative, performance-driven mobile solutions designed to meet the unique needs of the rapidly growing cloud gaming industry. This role emphasizes building products from the ground up and leveraging your deep expertise in mobile performance optimization, particularly within the gaming vertical.
You will work closely with cross-regional teams to design and deliver solutions that drive critical performance metrics such as Cost per Acquisition (CPA), Cost per Install (CPI), user engagement, and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), ensuring these products scale effectively across global markets and platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Vision
  • Define and own the vision for mobile-first performance solutions in the cloud gaming space.
  • Develop a roadmap for scalable, data-driven products built from the ground up, aligning with market trends and client objectives.
  • Address key challenges in cloud gaming advertising by identifying opportunities and implementing effective solutions.
Product Development
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of mobile performance products focused on CPI optimization, user retention, and ROAS growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-regional engineering and design teams to ensure high-quality and timely product releases.
  • Utilize technical and market expertise to incorporate advanced ML models and unique features tailored to the gaming vertical.
Cross-Regional Collaboration
  • Partner with globally distributed teams to integrate diverse perspectives and execution strategies seamlessly.
  • Serve as a central coordinator to align across time zones, cultural differences, and technical approaches.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication to streamline decision-making and drive results.
Client-Centric Innovation
  • Work closely with cloud gaming service teams to understand their performance needs and priorities.
  • Translate client feedback into actionable product features that deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Ensure product solutions meet the nuanced demands of cloud gaming, including session continuity and enhanced engagement.
Performance Metrics & Optimization
  • Define, track, and optimize key success metrics, including CPI, ROAS, playtime, and engagement.
  • Continuously improve product performance through rigorous testing frameworks and data-driven insights.
  • Anticipate and adapt to market trends to keep product offerings competitive and relevant.
Qualifications

  • Experience: 8+ years in product management, with a focus on ad tech, mobile performance optimization, and gaming verticals.
  • Leadership: Proven experience building and scaling performance products from inception.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of machine learning applications in advertising technologies.
  • Cross-Regional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with globally distributed teams.
  • Analytical Skills: Expertise in leveraging data to inform product decisions and optimize performance.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
CALIFORNIA ONLY
Salary Range Pay Transparency: Compensation for this role, for candidates based in Mountain View, CA is expected to be between $200,000 and $255,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
