Instrument Technician – Full-Time

📍 Location: Lexington, Nebraska

🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Rotating On-Call Schedule)

Position Overview

A growing ethanol production facility is seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join their maintenance team. This full-time, permanent position offers a hands-on opportunity to perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of instruments and electronic components in a production environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong troubleshooting skills, an understanding of industrial electronics, and a proactive approach to safety and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily inspections on instrumentation, including flow control valves, pressure/temperature indicators, and flow meters
  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on electrical components, such as motors and starters
  • Troubleshoot and calibrate computer boards and other electronic devices
  • Replace and upgrade computer boards as necessary
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
  • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule with stipend compensation; time and a half pay for call-ins

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Electronics or a related field preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical applications
  • Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative maintenance team
