Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Gain comprehensive experience across the entire ownership cycle of real estate assets, from acquisitions through asset management to final disposition.
  • Work closely with multiple team members to oversee a property’s lifecycle from start to finish.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the commercial real estate industry while making meaningful contributions to a growing team.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and engage with various departments, including Acquisitions, Leasing, Portfolio Management, Property Management, Construction, Accounting, and Transactions.
  • Assist in acquisition underwriting and financial analysis by creating ARGUS models and performing valuation sensitivity assessments.
  • Track and analyze key financial and operational metrics, including tenant rent rolls, expense recoveries, capital expenditures, and debt service.
  • Maintain ARGUS models to generate projected property-level cash flows and valuations.
  • Prepare reports for stakeholders and lenders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including senior executives in leasing, property management, accounting, marketing, and construction.
  • Support the development and implementation of strategic property initiatives.
  • Identify risks and opportunities within the portfolio to maximize asset value.
  • Perform investment return calculations and sensitivity analyses for leasing, redevelopment, and sale scenarios.
  • Review leases and legal documents to assess the feasibility of value-enhancing initiatives.
  • Conduct market research to support decision-making.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and assist with new acquisitions as needed.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Experience in commercial real estate investment analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level).
  • Hands-on experience with ARGUS Enterprise.
  • Strong interest in advancing a career in commercial real estate.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to contribute to process improvements, company culture, and overall organizational growth.
