Pay Range: $15 - $16/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accept, review, verify and process collateral packages for Mortgage Warehouse customers to secure warehouse lines of credit.
• Input Data of collateral on the tracking system.
• File new and ship shipped collateral and retrieve collateral for shipping to investors.
• Review, research and clear exceptions.
• This is a clerical position, the candidate will be receiving mortgage loan files from our customers, that have original mortgage notes and copies of other loan documents.
• They review the contents of the file to ensure all documents are received and are consistent.
• They then compare the information in the mortgage loan file to our proprietary system ProMerit to make sure the data in our system is consistent with the mortgage loan file.
• Once the review is completed, they file the mortgage loan file in our vault by customer, alphabetically. Periodically these notes must be forwarded to an investor for purchase.
• The candidate will receive a list of loans on a report from ProMerit and retrieve the mortgage loan files from the vault and prepare them to be shipped/delivered to the investor.
• They may also be responsible for assisting in reviewing the package others prepare to be delivered to the investor for accuracy.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key skills; Data Entry, Excel, Banking/Mortgage
• Performance metrics.
• Volume of work produced meets expectations of percentage between 13% and 21% for Hopkins.
• CBCR ensures work tasks are processed error free between 97% and 99.5% and limits the number of Repeat and High-Risk findings.
• Candidate will interact with other client employees face to face.
• Preferred 2 to 3 years banking and/or mortgage banking experience.
• Proven ability to work in a high-pressure deadline environment.
• Typing or data entry skills and proficiency in Word and Excel.
• We will provide training on the ProMerit system.
• General knowledge of loan processing.
• Demonstrated teamwork experience.
