PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION

We want someone who is passionate about physical therapy and is excited to provide care in the clinic and out in the community. We are looking for someone that is committed to learning and aspires to be the BEST at what they do.

JOB TASKS

• Provide quality, personalized and evidence-based care with proven interventions
• Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
• Promote patients’ healthy and active lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
• Consult and practice with other health professionals
• Work directly with a supervising PT to determine best POC
• Monitor and communicate progress to patients and supervising PT
• Document patient care services in a timely fashion
• Expectations: 1 patient every 30min

SKILLS

• Proven work experience as a physical therapist assistant
• Clinical expertise is orthopedics
• Manual therapy skills
• Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
• Current knowledge of treatment practices
• Drive to continually learn and grow

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

• Valid NC license to practice as a PTA
• CSCS preferred
• 1+ years experience as a physical therapist assistant

HOURS

• Monday to Friday
• Schedule TBD upon hire
