Position: Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS)

Location: Austin and San Antonio

Type: Full-Time | In-Office or Hybrid

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) to lead and support a variety of land surveying projects across Central Texas. The ideal candidate not only brings a strong technical foundation in boundary, topographic, and construction surveys, but also a passion for client engagement, business development, and helping grow our presence in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage land surveying projects from start to finish, ensuring quality control and timely delivery.
• Prepare and review plats, legal descriptions, and survey deliverables in compliance with state and local regulations.
• Oversee and support survey field crews and CAD technicians, providing technical guidance as needed.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building lasting relationships and understanding project goals.
• Collaborate with leadership on proposals, budgeting, and strategy to grow market share and client base.
• Identify new business opportunities, attend industry events, and actively support marketing and sales efforts.
• Ensure all survey work complies with regulatory standards and professional licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Active RPLS license in the State of Texas.
• 5+ years of experience in land surveying with a solid understanding of both field and office practices.
• Proven experience in business development, client relations, or project acquisition is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and survey-related technologies such as Trimble, Leica, or Carlson systems.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• A team-first mentality with the ability to mentor junior staff and represent the firm professionally.
