Home Health Nurse Educator

At VNA Health Group, we believe education is the key to exceptional patient care. As a Home Health Nurse Educator, you will equip our clinical teams with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the field.

In this role, you’ll lead orientation, clinical training, continuing education, and professional development for nursing and clinical staff. Partnering with managers and healthcare teams, you’ll design and implement evidence-based training programs that align with state and federal guidelines, ensuring quality care and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver clinical education programs for new and existing staff.
• Lead Preceptor Workshops and mentorship initiatives to strengthen leadership.
• Provide skills lab training and field supervision visits to ensure clinical competency.
• Support Continuing Education (CE) programs and ANCC Nurse Planner responsibilities.
• Serve as a clinical resource, guiding staff on best practices and compliance.
• Oversee CPR training, vaccine clinics, and competency assessments.
• Collaborate with Quality, HR, and interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• BSN required; Master’s preferred
• 3+ years of home health experience (preferred)
• 3+ years as a Clinical Educator (preferred)
• OASIS and HomeCare HomeBase knowledge a plus
• Strong teaching, organizational, and computer skills
