Coding with Kids is seeking a dynamic and experienced Site Lead & Instructional Coach to oversee daily operations and support instructional excellence at multiple summer camp locations in the Seattle area . This is a unique opportunity for an educational leader who is passionate about computer science education and mentoring others.

You will be responsible for:

• Serving as the primary liaison between camp sites, instructors, and the operations team.
• Designing, planning, and facilitating professional development sessions for camp instructors.
• Providing on-site instructional support, including classroom observations, co-teaching, and model teaching.
• Offering actionable feedback and coaching to instructors to improve teaching practices and student engagement.
• Ensuring that daily camp operations run smoothly and that site needs are communicated and addressed promptly.
• Fostering a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment for students and staff.
• Monitoring and upholding camp policies, safety protocols, and instructional standards.

The kind of person we are looking for :

• Prior teaching experience, preferably in computer science or STEM education.
• Experience coaching or mentoring educators is strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple sites and work in collaboration with others..
• Passion for working with children and supporting teacher development.
• Availability to work part-time (20 hrs/week) across the 10-week summer session. Timing will depend on the needs of the site.

Work location:  

• Seattle area camp locations (Seattle proper and the Eastside)

Work schedule:

• 20 hours/week, with timing dependent on the needs of the sites

Compensation:

• $25-35/hr
