Position Details:

• Role: Contract Special Education Teacher
• Location: Schools near Ashburn, VA
• School Year: 2024-2025 with renewal option
• Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, regular school hours
• Caseload: Opportunities at the Elementary, Middle, and High School levels

Experience & Requirements:

• Prior experience in a school-based setting is preferred
• Experience in pediatric settings is a plus
• Virginia Special Education Licensure

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for students with developmental disabilities.
• Plan and deliver engaging and adaptive lessons in literacy and math, adjusting materials as needed.
• Collaborate with parents, staff, and specialists to ensure effective communication and holistic student support.
• Monitor and track student progress, adjusting instructional strategies to ensure academic and social growth.
