We are currently seeking a highly experienced and strategic Sales Officer to lead our sales efforts for XDuce Public Services (XPS). The Sales Officer-Local Govt Services will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and expanding our presence within local government sectors. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in sales leadership, with a proven track record of success in the local government sector (e.g. Municipalities). The sales focus will be around technical IT products development and solutions, primarily targeting the local government departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets.
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to drive performance and achieve sales goals.
Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Leverage extensive experience and relationships within local government clients to identify and secure new business opportunities.
Navigate complex government procurement processes and ensure compliance with regulations and requirements.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders and decision-makers.
Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition, account expansion, and strategic partnerships.
Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics.
Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to adjust strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with other senior executives to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Provide regular updates to the executive team on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.
Act as a key spokesperson for the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Continuously seek opportunities to innovate and improve sales processes, tools, and methodologies.
Implement best practices in sales operations, including CRM systems, sales training, and performance management.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Degree in Public Policy, Economics or a subject related to Social Services or a related field
