PERIKIN Enterprises, LLC is on the lookout for a highly motivated Staff Accountant to join our dynamic Finance Division! Responsibilities

• Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Updating accounts receivable and issuing invoices
• Updating accounts payable and performing reconciliations
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
• Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records, etc. as assigned
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
• Assist in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
• Assist with other accounting projects
• Assist in completing audits
• Identify and resolve financial discrepancies
• Generate reports of financial status information
• Process Service and Engineering contract invoices
• Process Professional Services AP invoice receipts
• Reconcile credit card balance sheet accounts
• Support the Purchase Requisition process
• Submit invoices to all Services and Engineering clients via email

Requirements

• 2 years’ proven experience as an accountant or relevant account/finance field
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, including lookups and pivot tables
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Familiarity with accounting software and tax preparation software such as Intuit QuickBooks, PeachTree, or Sage 50 Accounting
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA is a plus but not required
• BSc/Ba in accounting, finance, or relevant field
