Since 1751, The Plumsteadville Inn has been providing locals and visitors with delicious food, refreshing drinks, and a place to stay. The Inn offers a variety of atmospheres and a consistent menu across all dining rooms. It also functions as an active inn, banquet facility, and caterer. Matt George, a veteran of the restaurant industry, is the current owner and operator since 2021. The Inn is thriving and continues to grow under his leadership.

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chef at the Plumsteadville Inn, located in Pipersville, PA. The Chef will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring food quality and presentation. The Chef will also be responsible for kitchen staff management, maintaining kitchen safety and sanitation standards, and ordering supplies. Additional duties include collaborating with the management team for event planning and special menus.

• Experience in menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring food quality
• Skills in kitchen staff management and training
• Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to handle supply ordering and inventory management
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience is preferred
